The official application of Rádio Eldorado in Criciúma, SC provides listeners with an engaging audio experience. As the oldest radio station in the region, part of the Salvaro Group, it sets a standard that its newer sibling, Rádio Eldorado FM, aims to uphold. Launched in January 2011 initially as an experimental station, it has since been fully licensed by the Ministry of Communications and operates at a frequency of 89.5 Mhz. The station was developed under the vision of entrepreneur Henrique Salvaro, maintaining the longstanding tradition associated with the Eldorado brand.

Rádio Eldorado FM embodies a significant milestone in broadcasting, having aligned its programming from October with the established Rádio Eldorado AM, operating together from 5 AM to 7 PM. This initiative makes it a pioneer in Santa Catarina, being the first station in the region to operate simultaneously on both AM and FM frequencies, thus catering to a broader audience that prefers accessing content through mobile devices and other media formats.

One of the primary motivations behind the inception of Rádio Eldorado FM was to enhance coverage of Criciúma Esporte Clube's football matches. This strategic decision has proven successful, as evidenced by research conducted by Instituto de Pesquisas Catarinense, which revealed that 44.25% of listeners tune into Criciúma games on AM 570 while 26.25% opt for FM 89.5. Consequently, Rádio Eldorado FM has rapidly become the second most-listened-to station among Criciúma fans, trailing only its AM counterpart.

Future plans involve increasing transmission power upon approval from the Ministry of Communications, which will extend signal reach throughout southern Santa Catarina—part of a significant investment by Grupo HS in the communication sector.
